Campground Assistant – Advent Park

The Seventh-day Adventist Church (Western Australian Conference) Limited is looking for a dynamic, dependable, and proactive individual who is passionate about serving at Advent Park, the campground that hosts our annual Easter Camp and other church events. The hours of this position can be negotiated up to a full-time role and is located at our campgrounds in Maida Vale, WA. The Campground Assistant is responsible to the Campground Manager and will perform such duties as lawn mowing, keeping the grounds neat and tidy, general maintenance and cleaning of the amenity’s blocks.  This self-motivated individual will possess a pleasant demeanour and ideally have previous experience in a similar role.

Selection criteria

The successful applicant will meet this selection criterion:

1.   Be a practising baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a solid commitment to its mission. This would incorporate a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ characterised by a deep desire for worship and service to God.

2.   Demonstrated experience in a similar role.

3.   Demonstrated experience in maintenance and/or a specific trade.

4.   Must be able to liaise with church members and the public pleasantly and professionally.
