Senior Team Leader – Afternoon Shift

The role:

This role will provide effective leadership to our Distribution Warehouse afternoon shift team, with a strategic focus on forward planning and creating a positive workplace culture.

You will be responsible for:

• Provide proactive and collaborative leadership to the afternoon shift team
• Maintain connections with team members through exceptional communication
• Lead safety, with involvement in incident and hazard management
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance management
• Ensure warehouse operation processes are followed to a high standard
• Analyse reporting, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to improve results
• Manage workflows and staffing needs
• Identifying and developing future talent
• Coordinate team member training and development
• Support recruitment processes as required
• Facilitate team meetings

Afternoon shift is a Sunday – Thursday roster from – 3pm to 11pm.

You will have:

• Demonstrated ability to lead and engage work teams in line with Sanitarium’s values.
• Experience working as a Team Leader in a warehouse environment
• A strong commitment to workpace, health & safety
• Ability to drive a constructive culture with a hands on approach
• Experience in coaching and developing team members
• Current Forklift licence
• Qualifications in Leadership or willingness to obtain.
