Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Ltd is seeking a motivated School Bursar to join our staff at Wahroonga Adventist School, who are focused on inspiring students to be successful in school and beyond. This position is three days per week, commencing 21 July 2025, or earlier.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will preferably hold a certificate in business or accounting or have relevant bursar experience and a passion to work in a growing school. They will also be required to provide a current WWCC.

Key Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will:

• support the ethos and mission of the school within the context of Adventist Education
• have a sound understanding of accounting principles and practice
• be familiar with the accounting processes associated with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• be computer literate and possess experience in the use of relevant computer-based accounting package(s) – in particular Synergetic and Tech One
• have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software and be a proficient user of Excel
