Seventh-day Adventist Schools is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Business and Economics Teacher to join our campus at Central Coast Adventist School. This is a full-time position commencing term 1, 2027.
Central Coast Adventist School is a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 on the Central Coast. We are a team of committed educators and support personnel who fundamentally believe that students learn best when they feel safe, respected, and are genuinely engaged and challenged by purposeful, creative, differentiated opportunities to learn about themselves and the impact they can make in the world they live in. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from professional teachers who are passionate about helping young people learn, have the ability to provide an engaging program for students and have experience in the following areas for commencement in January ready for Term 1, 2027

The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- model and nurture an active relationship with Jesus and have a knowledge of and a commitment to supporting the ethos and mission of Central Coast Adventist School
- An understanding and commitment to the purpose and ethos of Adventist Education and the Church as described by Adventist Schools Australia and our statements of belief Statements of Belief
- have formal teaching qualifications with specialisation in the relevant fields
- hold current NESA qualifications
- have a student-focused outlook, with the ability to creatively engage students
- possess excellent people skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with all school stakeholders and work as part of a cohesive team
- be an innovative educator with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
- Committed to child safety by providing a safe culture, safe operations and a safe environment. Only applicants with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) will be considered for this role.
- Legally able to work in Australia. This position is not linked to a sponsorship visa.
