About the Role
As the ANZ IT Manager, you will be responsible for the overall IT strategy and execution across Australia and New Zealand. Leading a diverse team of IT professionals, you’ll ensure the smooth delivery of IT services, managing areas such as IT Operations, Security, Business Engagement, and Data Analytics. This role is pivotal to the success of our digital initiatives, supporting business goals and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy to support Sanitarium’s goals and long-term vision.
  • Lead a cross-country IT team to deliver exceptional technology solutions and services.
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective and quality service delivery.
  • Oversee IT security and architecture, ensuring systems are secure and compliant.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Establish governance models for IT performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external partners.
  • Drive IT team development, fostering an engaged, innovative, and high-performance culture.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplined IT teams.
  • Strong expertise in budget planning, financial management, and IT governance.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT service management (ITIL), IT security, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with senior executives.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience leading IT teams of 40+ indirect reports.
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks, ISO27001, and related security standards.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with core technologies like Microsoft, SAP, Dell, CISCO, and Salesforce.
  • Certifications in ITIL, TOGAF, or NIST are a plus.
