ELIA LMC Liaison Officer

Join the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre (LMC) team in this part-time (20hpw) 12 month maximum term role. 

ELIA Wellness is a health promotion charity, and we empower people to whole-person health because we care about the community. ELIA stands for Empowering Lifestyle Innovation Advocates and is an Adventist Health initiative under the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church umbrella.

The ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre (LMC) Liaison Officer plays a crucial part in promoting the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre to specialists, general practitioners, and other organizations, helping ELIA achieve its strategic and financial goals effectively.

Here’s some of what you’ll get up to:

• Develop and implement doctor referral plans and marketing strategies
• Liaise and build relationships with referring doctors, specialists and general practitioners
• Assist in monitoring and analysing of referral rates and recommend action to ELIA Medical Director and Health Strategy Leader (Executive Director).
• Develop and report on financial targets of the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre
• Liaise regularly with the Practice Manager/Medical Director
• Franchise and roll out ELIA Products and services to other clinics and hospitals.

Selection Criteria

• Must be a practising, baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission
• Bachelor’s degree in Health and/or Marketing
• Minimum of 5 years of industry knowledge or experience
• An understanding of and personal alignment to the Adventist Health Message
• Experience in engaging GPs, Specialists and multiple channel marketing and customer service

Duration: This is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week) 12-month maximum term employment contract.
