We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic casual Machine Operators with availability Sunday through to Thursday for our Afternoon shift of 2.30pm to 10.30pm to help us MAKE our beloved Weet-Bix in Moorooka! As we are experiencing large-scale continued growth at Sanitarium, we are hoping you are looking to move to a permanent Full-Time role in the near future.

- Operate cutting-edge machinery to bring our crunchy dreams to life.
- Ensure quality and consistency that will make every bowl of Weet-Bix a delightful experience.

- Data entry and completion of production paperwork.

Our nurses enjoy a unique opportunity to travel from workplace to workplace, administering flu vaccinations and gaining valuable experience in a dynamic role. About The Role
Our Moorooka site manufactures Weet-bix bites, Weet-bix flavours and single serve weet-bix packs – operating five days a week, 24 hours a day.
This role reports into the Technical Manager and is responsible for contributing to developing, implementing and the continuous improvement of quality management system to ensure compliance with food safety standards, customer requirements and other applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- HACCP: lead HACCP team in implementation & maintenance of HACCP systems
- Prerequisite Programmes: programmes to be in place and effective.
- GMP: support production in GMP compliance. Identify, control and report on food safety and GMP issues through regular audit.
- Allergen Status Reports: in place and accurate. Effective communication with New product development team with reference to site based cross contamination to support VITAL.
- Supply Chain Standards – ensure compliance with standards. Improve on requirements of supply chain standards where this will add value or further develop quality / safety.
- Assist Technical Manager during audits such as BRC, and retailer standards
- Review of customer and consumer complaints
- Food Safety / GMP / Supply Chain input
- Refresher training
- Production Support
- Manage & conduct equipment calibrations.
- Health and safety
- Manage projects as advised by Technical Manager
About you
- Passionate person with exceptional attention to detail who enjoys taking initiative.
