Registered Nurse- Occupational Health

About the role:

Our diverse role offers variety for a Registered Nurse who is motivated, passionate and keen to be involved in workplace health and wellbeing. This casual role would work nicely for someone who is looking to determine their own schedule around other commitments. You will make a difference and will improve workplace health by:

Conducting health checks and lifestyle disease risk assessments.
Health monitoring.
Fit testing.
Pre-employment screening.
Drug and alcohol.
Delivering lifestyle coaching around nutrition, exercise, stress and sleep.
Executing health monitoring including vision, hearing and lung function tests.
Administer vaccinations providing care, information and reassurance (only if you are an authorised immuniser – preferred but not essential).
Provide post vaccination observation.
Maintain the requirements of the cold chain and prepare vaccinations.
 

Skills and experience:

Have a practicing certificate.
Be experienced in delivering health checks and monitoring or willing to undertake on-the-job training.
Have Level 4 CPR training and ability to deal with medical emergencies including Anaphylaxis or willingness to undertake training.
Be a Registered Nurse and Authorised Vaccinator – preferred but not essential.
Computer literate.
Organised and capable of working autonomously.
Excellent client facing skills.
Have a NZ Driver’s license.
Have access to a fully insured car that you can use for work purposes.
