Education Director

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Seventh-day Adventist Education leader is now available.  We are looking for an Education Director for the Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM), based in beautiful Suva, Fiji. Trans Pacific Union Mission includes eleven island nations Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Tokelau, American Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. The TPUM office also administers the nursing school in the Solomon Islands – Atoifi Nursing Institution and Fulton Adventist University College tertiary facility in Nadi. 

Our new Education Director will be a baptised practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and would be able to:

1.       Effectively function as the custodian of the Mission of Christian Education in a secular world.

2.       Put in place training programs to prepare others for educational leadership.

3.       Provide effective professional management and development of the educational mission of the church at primary, secondary and tertiary levels for all of the TPUM territories.

4.       Effectively communicate with, and advise, the Church leadership structure on education policy and other relevant matters.

5.       Uphold the commitment to children and vulnerable people made by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, to build a safe community.
