We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Reliability team.

If have a background in food manufacturing or want to learn about food manufacturing, then this role may be right for you. We are looking for energetic Trades Assistants with the right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn within a team environment.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a mechanical interest, attention to detail and be an effective communicator in a team environment.

The successful applicant will:

• Have experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry. (preferred)
• Have flexibility to work rotating shifts
• Keen to learn and grow
• Have an interest and affiliation to the mechanical workings in a manufacturing environment

You will responsible for:

• Preventative maintenance work – testing, checking, lubing

• Minor repairs on machines – welding, changing parts, rebuilding parts

• Supporting maintenance team in daily duties
