    Longburn Adventist College Year 7 – 13 Teacher

    Tagged position. The board is seeking a committed Christian and talented New Zealand registered, qualified, and highly engaging teacher to lead Woodwork and Hard Materials Technology to Years 7 – 10 and Building Construction to Years 11-13. 

     

    The ability to teach other areas of technology and to teach Seventh-day Adventist religious studies is preferable.  The school has a well-resourced, spacious facility and has a reputation for excellence in this area.  The successful candidate will demonstrate digital fluency and have a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school. The appointee will be passionate about engaging learners within a Christ-centred school. When applying, please state other areas of teaching expertise and experience.

    A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction and demonstrate the capabilities to support and maintain programmes and activities that reflect the school’s special Seventh-day Adventist character are conditions of employment. The position commences Term 2, 2025.

    Longburn Adventist College (LAC) is a Year 7 to 13 boarding Secondary school that has provided Christian education in a caring family environment since 1908.
