For them – here’s how you’ll contribute
The role of the Social Worker is to provide counselling, support, advocacy and consultation to residents and staff at Adventist Senior Living on social issues.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Diploma of Counselling or Bachelor of Social Work Course
Demonstrated previous experience in the delivery of social work services
Working knowledge of services available for the aged and their carers
Experience in working with people with dementia and their carers
Demonstrated knowledge of Guardianship Tribunal procedures
Demonstrated clinical expertise in assessment of aged people and their carers
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
NDIS Check
Current Drivers Licence
You will also have demonstrated skills and experience in:
Relating & networking
Persuading & influencing
Presenting & communicating
Creating and Innovating (problem solving/critical thinking)
Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
Demonstrated ability to be innovative in problem solving and ability to think critically
