Shopper Marketing Manager

As a key member of the category team and reporting to the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager you will be responsible for executing the Grocery channel shopper activation plans within the breakfast cereal, liquid breakfast, non-dairy milk, and plant-based meals categories throughout the business. You will be the subject matter expert in all things shopper including understanding category shopper behaviours and drivers, barriers to purchase, occasions driven through insights and the touchpoints which drive conversion through the path to purchase.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Develop differentiated shopper conversion activations across all categories with an OMNI channel approach with our retail partners.
  • Aligning shopper marketing activities with customer, category and brand strategies to execute the business objectives.
  • Translate shopper marketing insights into actionable in-store and online solutions.
  • Effectively manage external agency partners including creative development and campaign alignment on time and in budget.
  • Alignment and communication in partnership with the Shopper Marketing Executive, with Field Sales Managers to ensure national field team support to execute shopper marketing activities with first class execution.
  • Manage point of sale through creation, distribution and logistics across all channels.
  • Effective budget management in consultation with the Senior Shopper Marketing Manager.
  • Build strong working collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders including activity management and presentations of shopper marketing programs to retailers.
  • Evaluate return on investment for all campaigns including in store, away from home and online.

 

The requirements:

  • 5+ years Sales, Category Management or Marketing experience
  • Experience with marketing activations across multiple channels
  • E-commerce and OMNI Channel experience advantageous
  • Project management and resource planning
  • Business, commercial and financial acumen
  • Managing large budgets
