Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking an innovative and dedicated Secondary Visual Art Teacher at Wahroonga Adventist School, to fulfil a position in Terms 1 and 2, 2025.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will hold a formal teaching qualification (degree level), a current Working with Children Check in NSW and be currently registered with NESA to teach in NSW – or be eligible to register with NESA. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.

  • Experience teaching Visual Art in Years 7-10
  • Supportive of the Christian ethos and mission of the school
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaboratively design and deliver engaging, differentiated student-centred learning
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA
