Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking an innovative and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join Wahroonga Adventist School, commencing in Term 1, 2025.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will hold a formal teaching qualification (degree level), a current Working with Children Check in NSW and be currently registered with NESA to teach in NSW – or be eligible to register with NESA. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.

Key attributes:

• Experience teaching mathematics in Years 7-12
• Capacity to teach Extension I or II Mathematics
• Supportive of the Christian ethos and mission of the school
• Demonstrated capacity to collaboratively design and deliver engaging, differentiated student-centred learning
• Possess strong communication skills
• Demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA

It is preferable that the successful applicant is a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.
