Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team at Wahroonga Adventist School, commencing Term 1, 2025.

Application Requirements

• Ability to use both explicit direct instruction and inquiry-based learning
• Collaborate with colleagues in the design and delivery of learning
• Experience teaching primary students
• Demonstrated capacity to collaboratively design and deliver engaging, differentiated student-centred learning
• Supportive of the Christian ethos and mission of the school
• Possess strong communication skills
• Demonstrated capacity to meet the professional expectations of the teaching profession as expressed by AITSL and NESA

The successful applicant will hold a formal teaching qualification (degree level), a current Working with Children Check in NSW and be currently registered with NESA to teach in NSW – or be eligible to register with NESA. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.
