Role Description

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking a dedicated and passionate Head of Middle School and Logistics to join the leadership team at Hills Adventist College. Reporting to the Head of Campus, this position is a key support to the campus management team. As the key leader in the Middle School (Year 5-8) you will be responsible for creating structures that invoke connection and a thriving learning community for students who are in this developmental stage. The logistics part of the role has responsibility for the daily organisation for the campus, excursions, duties, SEQTA and timetabling. Commencing Term 1 2025, with opportunities for ongoing employment, experienced leaders or those looking for their first leadership opportunity are both welcome to apply. Both Primary and Secondary teacher applicants welcome.

  • Ability to lead the implementation of the Vision, Mission and Values
  • Demonstrate a very high level of problem solving, organisation and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrate effective strategic planning, change management, logistics management and leadership 
  • Lead and build the performance and capacity of others
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will hold a formal teaching qualification (degree level), a current Working with Children Check in NSW and be currently registered with NESA to teach in NSW – or be eligible to register with NESA. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.
