Education Assistant

Seventh-day Adventist Schools South Australia is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person for the role of Education Assistant for a one-year maternity leave contract position. This position is three days per week, commencing on 4 November 2024. 

As a member of the Education staff, you will join a dedicated team committed to Adventist Education in South Australia. Our purpose is to reveal Jesus. Our vision is to be a thriving Christ-centred learning community. Our mission is to enable every student to flourish.

Application Requirements
The successful applicant will:

• demonstrate evidence of experience and qualities pertaining to the specifications of the position description, including competency in the Microsoft Office software suite;
• be a practising baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission (desirable);
• have the capacity to develop a working knowledge of denominational policies;
• hold a valid South Australian Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) check;
• have a current South Australian driver’s licence; and
• be willing to use their own vehicle and work non-standard hours on limited occasions when required to set up for and attend events.
