    Role Description

    The Greater Sydney Conference of the Seventh‑day Adventist Church/School Company is seeking a dedicated individual to support the design and implementation of the TechnologyOne ERP system for both companies, using administrative skills and professional knowledge to facilitate an efficient and effective delivery.

    Application Requirements

    Qualifications required

    1. Must be a practicing baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission.  This would incorporate an active relationship with Jesus Christ characterised by a deep desire for worship and service to God.

    2. A degree or equivalent in business, management or a related field would be advantageous however experience working in project management is considered essential

    Core Competencies:

    1. Ability to work both independently and with a team to achieve goals within agreed timeframes.

    2. Have strong administrative skills and good attention to detail.

    3. Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    4. Ability to quickly build understanding of business operations, processes and systems.

    5. Have good documentation skills and the ability to develop tailored materials.

    6.  Be computer literate and have the ability to work with a variety of platforms, including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint collaboration tools.

     

    Specific Responsibilities: 

    Project

    • Care for administration tasks throughout the project.
    • Provide ongoing administrative support post Go Live.
    • Report issues and risks to the Assistant CFO and Project Lead as soon as identified.

    Change

    • Assist in anchoring change and implementing change activities in consultation with the People & Culture Manager.
    • Provide feedback with respect to staff concerns, communication gaps and change resistance.
    • Support team members during the Go Live stage providing a point of resolution, escalating concerns as required and providing feedback to the steering team.

    Process

    • Facilitate internal decision-making processes.
    • Communicate business process designs and changes.
    • Review design documentation.

    Training

    •  Take responsibility for the development of training plans for both entities.
    •  Assist the training facilitator.
    • Support the development and execution of training schedules.
    • Assist in the development of role-specific tailored training materials.
    • Assist with the establishment of a learning and training repository. Support in the identification and creation of data setup requirements for end user training.
    •  Lead the delivery of end user training.
    •  Provide the Assistant CFO and Change Manager with updates on status, issues and risks.
    • Assist in identifying role based solution access and key change by business role.

    Testing

    •  Work with TechnologyOne to create test scripts based on test scenario lists. Determine the activities to be performed for each test scenario, including data, expected outcomes and responsibilities.
    • Expand UAT test scripts and scenarios provided by the vendor prior to UAT.
    • Schedule UAT testers to ensure planned test cases are executed as per the UAT plan.
    • Collate tests allocated to testers and assist with test execution as appropriate.
    • Collate UAT issues.
    • Liaise with the vendor on UAT issue management.
    • Ensure fixes are re-tested and manage the status of each issue correctly.
    • Report issues and risks to the Assistant CFO, Project Lead and the vendor Project Manager.
    • Report progress on all UAT activities to the Assistant CFO, Project Lead and the vendor Project Manager.
