    Finance Manager – Seventh-day Adventist Aged Care (South Queensland) Limited

    The above full-time position, based in our Brisbane city office, has become available as part of the South Queensland Conference finance team.

    This senior position, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, is an exciting position being responsible for all day-to-day financial management, reporting and administration areas of Aged Care within the South Queensland Conference.

    The position will involve the supervision of an enthusiastic team of finance professionals and will provide significant variety and challenges in the area of finance and administration with the successful applicant being responsible for the creation, implementation and monitoring of all financial and administration policies and procedures for the company in its current and future Aged Care ministries.

    Application Requirements

    The successful applicant will:

    • Be a practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
    • Hold Business/Management/Accounting academic qualifications (degree level) and be a member or be eligible to be a member, of a recognized Professional Accounting organization (CA/CPA).
    • Be able to demonstrate current experience in financial management and administration, preferably in the Health or Aged Care sectors.
    • Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
    • Be strongly computer literate and have experience in a variety of computer applications.
    • Possess good communication and relational skills essential for this position and be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
