Signs Publishing Company, part of Adventist Media, is seeking an experienced Senior Storeperson to join its distribution team in Warburton, Victoria.
Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this full-time role supports the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution activities, while providing day-to-day leadership and support to a small team.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive and process incoming goods.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare freight documentation.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Maintain stock and support effective stock handling.
• Undertake general warehouse and distribution activities.
• Help lead and motivate a small team.
• Work to required deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer service.
Essential Criteria
• Previous warehousing experience.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead and motivate a small team.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Customer-focused approach to work.
• Reasonable level of physical fitness and capacity to undertake the manual handling requirements of the role.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment assessment.
• Genuine interest in supporting the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Ability to satisfy Australian work-rights requirements.
Desirable Criteria
Current forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
