    Seventh-day Adventist Schools (NNSW) Ltd is seeking applications of interest from a qualified Business Manager for our three Mid-North Coast Schools.

    • Kempsey Adventist School is located on the beautiful Mid-North Coast, perfect for those looking for a tree and sea change. It serves the rural community of the Macleay Valley, seeking to be the hands and feet of Christ, by providing a nurturing environment that is based on high expectation relationships to achieve successful learning outcomes.

     

    • Port Macquarie Adventist School (PMAS) is located on the mid-north coast halfway between Sydney and Brisbane.  Our fast-growing community serves families from Wauchope in the west to Bonny Hills in the south.  To develop a sense of hope in Jesus as we grow daily in our learning, love like Jesus does, and develop connections with our community, is central to our existence. Our staff partner with our young people in creating such experiences.

     

    • Manning Adventist Bush School  is set in the beautiful Manning Valley located on the mid-north coast of NSW,15 minutes to beaches and close proximity to the Barrington Tops National Park. We follow a Bush School (Forest School) philosophy of long-term, regular outdoor sessions on our 14-hectare bush site.

     

    The successful applicant will

     

    • Be a practicing baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment to its mission. This would incorporate an active relationship with Jesus Christ characterised by a deep desire for worship and service to God.
    • Hold appropriate accounting academic qualifications (degree level) and hold membership with a professional accounting body such as CPA or CA.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles and practice.
    • Be familiar with the accounting processes associated with the preparation and presentation of monthly and annual financial education reports.
    • Be computer literate and possess experience in the use of relevant computer based accounting package(s) and have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, and be a proficient user of the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet package.
    • Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to develop professional relationships with the school management team, the school community and the various Corporate Office management teams.
    • Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
    • Be able to lead and collaborate in team settings.
    • Demonstrate a good work ethic and be able to pay attention to detail.
    • Demonstrate proven management experience and the ability to add value to the school leadership team.
    • Hold a valid Australian Driver’s license.
    • Committed to child safety by providing a safe culture, safe operations and a safe environment. Only applicants with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) will be considered for this role.
    • Legally able to work in Australia
