School ICT Technician

Northpine Christian College is seeking a motivated and experienced school ICT Technician to support the effective delivery of teaching and learning. This is a fulltime contract position, commencing November 2024.

Northpine Christian College is a vibrant Prep to Year 12 co-educational Seventh-day Adventist Christian community committed to developing and nurturing the whole child. 

The role provides daily technical support to staff and students. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Provide front line face to face help desk and technical support for students and staff
  2. Troubleshoot and support hardware and software related issues including but not limited to laptops, desktops, printers, photocopiers, telephones, data projector problems
  3. Device and software lifecycle management
  4. Windows, Office 365, group policy management and active directory (on-premises and cloud)
  5. Server and Network (wired and wireless) management
  6. Maintain and continually review appropriate Cyber safety, security controls and upgrades

Essential Criteria:

  1. Hold a Positive Notice Working with Children Blue Card
  2. Relevant ICT qualifications
  3. Demonstrated experience using a variety of ICT hardware, software and operating systems
  4. Highly developed problem solving, communication and documentation skills
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  6. Demonstrated capacity to work in an effective team and autonomously
