Assistant Demand Planner

About the role

Based at our offices in Royal Oak, Auckland, you will provide critical inputs and support to the wider Sales team as you assist the Sales Demand Manager in the oversight and application of all facets of the sales forecasting process.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the weekly forecasts for all Sanitarium products and customers
  • Run weekly & monthly reporting as required
  • Maintain the data integrity of our forecasting and reporting systems
  • Further develop, maintain and improve our planning and forecasting systems
  • Provide VRP/VMI backup

About you

We expect you are an enthusiastic, positive, self-motivated team player, demonstrating:

  • Extraordinary numerical & analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Sound customer management skills
  • Understanding of FMCG sales, forecasting & logistics functions

While relevant tertiary qualifications and some experience in forecasting and/or planning would be advantageous, this could also be an entry level role for someone with a strong affinity for numbers and a great appetite for learning.
