The Role

This role will provide engineering design, construction, supervision and commissioning support to the core beverages engineering design team members and to become a future valued team member supporting the beverages function within the business. The key responsibilities include:

·        Upholding Sanitarium’s values and contribute positively to the team and business culture.

·        Design machinery and plant from concept through to final engineering drawings ensuring the finished outcome is of a high standard.

·        Design and develop plant P&IDs and factory layouts using AutoCAD and Plant3D.

·        Contractor supervision pertaining to construction, installation and commissioning of equipment.

·        Large scale process plant 3D design.

·        Developing project specification, budget and timeline.

·        Develop scope documents and specifications for new equipment.

·        Provide hands on technical support in the operation and commissioning of new equipment.

·        Creative and practical approach to problem solving.

Skills & Experience

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic or Process/Chemical Engineering.

·        3+ years engineering and experience working in project teams in food and beverages, pharmaceutical or construction environment.

·        Experience designing new machinery and plant.

·        Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks or Plant 3D.

·        Experience supervising contractors.

·        Understanding of WHS obligation in the workplace.

·        Understanding of hygienic design pertaining to the food and beverage industry.

·        Highly motived and driven to achieve positive outcomes.

·        Excellent communication skills.

·        Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across many parts of the organisation and customer focused.
