The Role

This position will drive revenue, profit, brand awareness and growth in the Sanitarium International portfolio.  You will help develop and execute key activations and marketing initiatives to support the wider International Team achieve financial targets.  This involves the development and execution of marketing initiatives for assigned Brands, to assist in achieving financial objectives for the relevant portfolio across the International markets.  Key responsibilities include:

·        In conjunction with the Senior Brand Manager, develop the execution of all marketing initiatives to deliver on agreed brand strategy that meets business objectives, relevant to that specific market, including promotions, packaging, communications, digital, PR and events.

·        Liaison with local distributors and marketing agencies in key markets for localised strategies and campaigns, including sampling and retailer initiatives and go-to market NPD launches.

·        Investigate and recommend the appropriate communication and media plans across all current and emerging media channels, to deliver on key market share and brand health measures.

·        Project Management – delivered on time and profit targets to budget in line with Business plans and objectives.

·        Maximise and manage allocation to marketing budget, by approved spend allocation.

·        The continual review and tracking of strategy and total financial/operating budget performance in line with brand plans and target.

·        Oversight, planning and approval of digital activity, including websites and social media.

·        Design and delivery of key trade shows, Point of Sale materials, GWP and assets for relevant Sanitarium brands.

·        Management and execution of international specific packaging projects.

·        Analysis and implementation of research projects with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and strategy.

·        Provide representation in regular cross-functional forums and WIPs (including brands, Project Team Meetings, Nut/Reg Meetings etc) and related specific projects, including analysis and reporting requirements.

·        International travel a minimum of 4 times per year or as required.

Skills & Experience

·        Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.

·        4 – 6 years’ experience working across brand marketing.

·        Have a track record of building strong / lasting relationships with customers & internal teams.

·        Demonstrate a high level of communication and organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

·        Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, and adapt to the given situation and be comfortable to operate in new environments.

·        Proven success across campaign execution and management, including evaluation of ROI.

·        Experience with bringing new products to market, including cross-functional project team involvement.

·        Understanding of key grocery retail dynamics.

·        Experience with managing consumer research projects both qualitative and quantitative.

·        Proven track record of taking research results and influencing brand strategy.

·        Demonstrate the use of a variety of presentation formats and be experienced in presenting successfully to a wide range of audiences.
