The Role
Due to internal promotions, we are sourcing for this role. It is an excellent development opportunity within the sales structure, offering a high degree of exposure to major retail accounts and the opportunity to learn the intricacies of strategic account management. Reporting to the National Account Manager for Breakfast, this role will be a key contributor to the achievement of Category, Marketing and Sales plans and objectives. The Assistant National Account Manager will work hand-in-hand with the National Account Managers formulating and negotiating effective promotional programs that will optimise Sanitarium’s opportunity for category growth.
· Work with the National account team to implement Sales strategies to achieve business goals.
· Supporting the National Account team with forecast management aligning with our customers.
· Supporting in-store & online promotional slotting, strategy development & review.
· Supporting with building and collating general & range review presentations.
· Analysis of various data sources to monitor current market dynamics reviewing current strategies and assist in setting future direction.
· Key account contact for the National Field Sales Team working to deliver tools for executional excellence.
· Work as a partner building strong rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
· Manage selected categories.
Skills & Experience
· 2-3 years Sales or Account Executive experience or adjacent roles (Category Management, Finance or Marketing).
· A knowledge and understanding of FMCG and the Grocery market.
· Tertiary Education in Sales/Marketing/Finance is desirable.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Strong analytical skills and a good attention to detail.
· Strong presentation skills using MS Power Point & Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level).
· Collaborative team player.
