The Role
The National Account Manager’s role is to increase Sanitarium revenue for Woolworths within cost budgets and with exceptional customer service by driving the corporate, brand and category objectives, and efficient financial management of trade promotion budgets.
Implement Sales strategies to achieve business goals.
Develop, implement, and achieve annual revenue, category and operating targets.
Drive and implement retailer sponsored business plans and reporting schedules.
Develop and manage trade relationships.
Support and input to the accurate forecasting of the demand planning process.
Ensure that trade fund management process, procedures and reports are implemented and followed.
Maintain a strong working relationship with the Field Sales Team
Deliver Sales targets to Budget.
Manage Trade Spend and Ops funds to Budget
Deliver sales activities in line with Sales & Marketing plans
Liaise with internal and external peers and stakeholders to maximise account plans
Skills & Experience
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer facing role (Account Management, Category Management or eComm).
Proven knowledge of strategic retail category plan development and successful implementation.
Demonstrated influencing skills.
Demonstrated presentation skills using a variety of presentation formats.
Experienced in presenting successfully to a wide range of audiences.
Ability to manage financial aspects of our trade spend model.
Ability to manage forecasting.
Knowledge of FMCG and Independent Grocery market is desirable.
Tertiary education in Sales/Marketing/Finance is desirable.
