The Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fulltime Fitter Machinist to join our Engineering Trades team, on a 18 month term contract.

Due to the increased growth and demand of Sanitarium’s products this role will assist in the creation of parts and machinery that will be used for a new food manufacturing production line.

The work is predominately during day shift hours (7am – 3:45pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12noon Friday). 

Qualifications / Experience required

The successful Applicant for this role will have:

Mechanical Trade certificate.
Stainless steel Fabrication experience.
At least 3 years’ experience building machinery from engineering drawings
TIG/MIG experience is highly advantageous.
Capable of detailed assembly of manufacturing equipment.
Experience in pneumatic control machinery advantageous but not essential
