The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Solutions Architect to join our team to contribute to the growth and delivery of technology solutions to all business areas within Sanitarium. You will deliver innovative IT solutions that enable the business to achieve its strategic goals. This role will provide architectural direction and solution designs for technology change, from a broad Sanitarium Group perspective and at an individual solution level. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Research and test relevant technology, platforms and solutions in order to determine and incorporate the most appropriate technologies into solution designs.
Design, communicate and specify solutions for approved projects.
Work collaboratively with key business and technical SME’s.
Provide scoping and solution estimation required to deliver a solution.
Maintain active oversight of technical solution delivery through provision of appropriate guidance and architecture standards.
Support the continuous improvement of the Architecture practice through the development and enhancement of standards, principles, templates and methods.
Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in a related field – Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Essential to this role you will have strong technical skills (hands on) with working knowledge of Servers, Network, Storage, Cloud and Virtualisation Technologies.
Demonstrated technical leadership and strong problem-solving skills
Experience delivering architectural artifacts such as solution designs, standards and roadmaps.
Ability to independently manage your own workload to agreed priorities and timelines across multiple projects.
Ability to effectively translate business requirements to a technical solution design which aligns with the architectural requirements.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of complex solutions.
Experience in manufacturing/OT environments would be an advantage.
Knowledge of TOGAF, ZACHMAN or similar architectural frameworks is desirable
