The Role

The key purpose of the role is to plan, execute, and implement all projects to deliver intended business outcomes – on time, on budget, and within quality parameters and scope according to business priorities.

Strategy and Governance – In line with the IT Project Management Office Framework, develop, build, report and govern the progress of all projects.
Assess, prioritise and resolve/mitigate all project risks as they are encountered.
Represent the project at project governance and inter-department forums.
Align projects to project methodology compliance standards set by the framework.
Business Relationship Management – Develop communication plans and interfaces to actively engage business partners.
Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria.
Communicate and report on project and program progress to key stakeholders.
Consult, coach and educate stakeholders on project and process impact on the business.
Project and Program Delivery – Define and create project plans for projects, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation.
Manage all aspects of the project life cycle including operational checkpoint activities. and work with team members to oversee all phases of project completion.
Resource management across all projects.
Contribute to the transformation and improvement program of the IT Team.
Skills & Experience

3+ years demonstrated experience in delivering technical projects to support business solutions
Knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
Proficient with Project and Portfolio Management Tools. (Visio, MS Project, Project Server etc)
Familiarity with PMI or PRINCE2 methodology or equivalent.
Change management experience is highly regarded.
Tertiary level degree in information technology or relevant industry experience.
