The Role:
This is a customer facing, insight-based role where you will be responsible for developing & embedding our strategic category ambitions with internal and external customers. You will use comprehensive shopper, consumer & category analytics & insights, turn vision into reality, delivering category growth, revenue & profit opportunities for both Sanitarium and our customers. You will also:
- Play a pivotal role in the sales, category & marketing team, using fact-based category, consumer & shopper insights to develop category vision & strategies to unlock profitable growth
- Own & lead the category review process, working collaborating with key internal cross-functional teams to deliver compelling customer presentations
- Build strong relationships with our retail partners, through joint planning, to set strategic direction & unlock opportunities for mutual growth
- Monitor category & portfolio performance to inform the business & ensure product strategy is optimal
- Provide input into NPD process, assisting in setting goals & objectives for new products & supporting go-to-market strategies
- Be involved in annual business planning as it relates to the category, brand & shopper plans & key initiatives
- Keep up to date with consumer & category trends & insights to inform retailers & ensure our Category
- Growth Drivers & plans remain highly relevant & impactful
- Create the Point of Purchase vision for your category & channels, including e-com, using best practice processes and tools to inform ranging & layout recommendations
Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytic & insight skills
- Relationship management experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong commercial acumen
- FMCG experience is advantageous but not essential
- Sales or Marketing experience is advantageous but not essential
