  • Delivering individualised clinical-based nursing care to our residents
  • Promoting wellbeing and enablement, using a holistic approach when providing clinical care
  • Supporting and mentoring care and clinical teams within the facility
  • Conducting nursing assessments and developing care plans specific to the resident needs
  • Providing an outstanding level of nursing advice and support to the resident and their relatives
  • Developing supportive working relationships with fellow Nurses and treating Health Professionals to maintain the highest standards of care

What's on offer: 

In return, you will be offered above-award rates with a supportive management team. Our salary for this position ranges from $39.51 - $51.43 and we also offer salary packaging because of our PBI status (non-taxable) for part-time and full-time employees.

For experienced RNs, 1 week of training is offered to you to get familiar with our systems and residents.
Additional support in terms of online training and mentoring is also provided.
A variety of shifts are on offer to suit your availability.

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience working within the Aged Care Setting (Desired)
  • Experience in supervising staff in the clinical and care environment
  • Ability to work as a team player with strong communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with ACFI and the ACSAA assessment system
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act (1997)
  • Compassionate, dedicated and caring nature with the ability to build strong rapport with residents
  • Good knowledge of aged care documentation requirements
  • Computer skills
  • Flexible working attitude
  • Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 & Influenza

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • 12 months experience desirable but negotiable
