SDA Schools NNSW Ltd is seeking expressions of interest from Primary Teacher’s (stage 2 & 3) for the Heights Learning Community. This is a full-time position commencing the beginning of Term 1, 2027

The Heights Learning Community is a growing independent Adventist school located in Gillieston Heights in the Lower Hunter region of NSW. • An understanding and commitment to the purpose and ethos of Adventist Education as described by Adventist Schools Australia 
• Model and nurture an active relationship with Jesus and demonstrate a commitment to the ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church at The Heights Learning Community.
• Model strong Christian values and character, with an authentic love for children and a commitment to Christian education.
• Appropriate teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation and experience. 
• Create engaging, innovative, and future-focused learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
• Embrace opportunities to incorporate inquiry-based learning, technology, programming, design thinking, and innovation into classroom practice, preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
• Support the development of the whole child through meaningful faith experiences, academic excellence, character development, and opportunities for service within the local and wider community.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of curriculum requirements and the ability to deliver high-quality teaching aligned with relevant NESA syllabus outcomes.

• Committed to child safety by providing a safe culture, safe operations and a safe environment. Only applicants with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) will be considered for this role 
• Applicants must be legally able to work in Australia. This position is not linked to a sponsorship visa and those who cannot provide evidence of being legally able to work in Australia will not be considered.
