About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, People and Culture to lead our Human Resources department. In this role, you will develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organisation’s values, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment law. Key responsibilities include recruitment, performance management, staff development, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement people and culture strategies, aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and lead recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Oversee compliance with employment law and workplace awards
  • Lead performance management processes and staff development initiatives
  • Support workplace culture initiatives, including diversity and inclusion
  • Manage workplace disputes and return-to-work programs
  • Provide HR advice and assist with budget preparation and statistical reporting
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and other senior staff to achieve strategic goals

About You:
You are a results-driven HR professional with a proven track record in leadership and compliance. You are passionate about creating positive workplace cultures and adept at balancing strategic goals with day-to-day HR operations.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Proven experience in HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and policy development
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a workplace culture with Christian values
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
