    Role Description

    Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Limited is seeking a dedicated and passionate Music Tutor to teach Upper Primary students beginner clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, bass, and drums in small group lessons and lead students in a band setting.

    About the Role

    • Teach small group beginner lessons across woodwind, brass, and rhythm section instruments.
    • Guide students in developing technical skills, ensemble playing, and musicianship.
    • Conduct and direct a band, fostering teamwork and confidence in performance.
    • Inspire students with engaging and effective teaching methods.

    About You

    • Experience teaching multiple instruments (woodwind, brass, rhythm section).
    • Ability to lead an ensemble and arrange repertoire suited to student skill levels.
    • Strong communication skills and a passion for music education.
    • Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
    • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
