PART TIME MANAGER – ADVENTIST RESIDENTIAL CARE YOOROONGA

South Queensland Conference is seeking a part-time Manager, for the Yooroonga facility at Victoria
Point. The Yooroonga facility consists of five Villas of shared accommodation providing independent
living for younger people living with disabilities. The successful applicant will manage and oversee the
operation of the facility, ensuring we meet the NDIS requirements and duty of care for our residents.
The position provides 15 hours of employment per week, caring for the needs of the operation, ensuring
the residents are being cared for, along with ensuring the maintenance of both building and grounds are
maintained.

Ideally this position requires someone with previous experience in caring/managing residential
operations, with counselling experience and/or experience in working and caring for those who are
disabled, and to gain working knowledge of the NDIS policies and requirements. This position also
requires someone with excellent communication skills and be a committed member of the Seventh-day
Adventist Church with a strong commitment to mission demonstrated within the Adventist Residential
Care ministry of the church. The successful applicant will report to Adventist Residential Care –
Yooroonga Management Committee and be an invitee to the management committee. Further, the
successful applicant will be required to apply or have a Yellow Card as required under the Disability
Services Act 2006, preference being to those who already hold a Blue Card.
