    Are you looking to work in a team environment that focuses on the finance ministry of the North NSW Church?

    Join us as the Assistant Accountant in a team of accounting minded people. As part of this great bunch of people, you’ll process data and provide information, complete documentation to a high standard and within timeframes, and support innovative best practice accounting principles.

    Here’s some of what you’ll get up to:

    – Maintain, reconcile and process financial data for the Church and related interests

    – Provide information to customers to facilitate best practice accounting principles

    – Work as part of a team that actively engages in reporting data and building relationships

    You’ll be perfect for this role if you have these 4 things:

    –  A relevant qualification or previous experience in accounting and an understanding of accounting terms and principles

    – High level of computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Accounts

    –  Willingness and commitment to undertake further studies to achieve accreditation as a CPA or CA accreditation

    –  Have an understanding of, commitment to, and support the values, ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
