Lab Assistant

Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Greater Sydney) Ltd is seeking an organised, methodical and experienced Science Lab Assistant at Mountain View Adventist College. This position will commence in January 2023 on a year contract for 18 flexible hours a week. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Science HOD and teachers to assist in preparing for and cleaning up after experiments, setting out experiments, making sure all chemicals are labelled and put away safely as well as writing up risk reports for all experiments.

The successful applicant will hold at minimum Laboratory certification, a current Working with Children Check. It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the College.
