If have a background in FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) manufacturing or want to learn about FMCG manufacturing, then this role may be right for you. We are looking for qualified industrial electricians with right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn within a team environment.

 

The successful applicant will demonstrate proven knowledge, skills, attention to detail and be an effective communicator in a team environment.

 

The successful candidate(s) will:

  • Have relevant qualifications in the Electrical Trade.
  • Preferred work experience within the FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Be able to work independently and proactively on preventive maintenance, breakdowns and new installation work.
  • Good fault-finding skills and the ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Be competent in servicing and maintaining industrial equipment.
  • Have a basic understanding of how a PLC operates
  • Be familiar with and able to use a computerised Maintenance System
  • Communicate with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues
  • Able to work fixed Afternoon Shift Sunday – Thursday 3pm-11pm.
  • Be safety-focused and process-driven.
  • Have a forklift licence or be willing to obtain it.
  • Display positive behaviours in alignment with Sanitarium’s values and be a reliable member of the team.
