Adventist Senior Living is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church seeking to enhance the physical, spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of older Australians through Christ-centred care. We are a not-for-profit organisation and our facilities include residential aged care, retirement communities and a growing Home Care service supporting our retirement villages and the broader local community.

As the General Manager Avondale Care, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the facilities. You will inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team to uphold the highest standards of clinical care, resident wellbeing and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will be supported by a dedicated leadership team including a Clinical Care Manager, 3 Care Co-ordinators and a committed team of nurses and carers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
  • Operational planning, budgeting and resource management

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, quality standards and AN-ACC processes
  • Proven leadership in aged care operations, including rostering and financial oversight
  • A collaborative, compassionate leadership style and excellent communication skills
  • NDIS Workers Screening check
