Brief description of role
Do you enjoy leading people, solving problems and keeping facilities operating at their best?
As our Facilities Supervisor, you'll lead the maintenance and operations function across Yarra Adventure & Holiday Parks. You'll oversee maintenance programs, grounds presentation, contractor management, compliance, asset management and operational infrastructure, helping ensure our parks are safe, welcoming and ready to create great experiences for our guests.
Managing the Operations Coordinator and Head of Guest Services you’ll work closely with contractors and other departments, and you'll play a key role in protecting and improving the assets that support our ministry.
Key Responsibilities
Here's some of what you'll get up to:
- Lead maintenance and facilities operations across the Parks.
- Coordinate maintenance programs, contractor works and capital projects.
- Ensure facilities, grounds, equipment and infrastructure are safe, compliant and well maintained.
- Support and develop the Operations Coordinator and maintenance team.
- Manage maintenance budgets, resources and procurement activities.
- Monitor workplace health and safety and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, sustainability and guest experience.
- Work closely with other departments to support the smooth operation of the Parks.

About the Company
You'll be perfect for this role if you have these things:
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance, construction, property management or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety and risk management principles.
- Experience managing contractors, projects, budgets and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A practical approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
- An understanding of, commitment to, and support for the values, ethos and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
