Our catering team is on the lookout for a passionate casual Cook to join our team based in our Aged Care Facility in Alstonville. 

You will ensure the provision of quality food and quality customer service that meets the individual needs of our residents. You will run a smooth service including meal prep, plating of meals, texture modifying meals and assist in menu design and development to name a few. We are big on compliance so we would expect you to follow that. And we are big on care: we want to look after our residents and our team.

About You

You are professional and energetic, and you are able to demonstrate:-

  • Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • 2+ years in a similar cooking or catering role
  • A high regard for cleanliness and hygiene
  • You are fast and efficient in undertaking duties
  • You are a good communicator, reliable and punctual
  • You thrive in a busy and fast paced environment
  • You follow instructions and procedures 
  • You truly enjoy looking after people and want to be part of a supportive team
  • You have Australian Working Rights
  • A willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Clearance
