Conference Office Receptionist

The Tasmanian Conference office is looking for a receptionist/office assistant (0.8 FTE) to work at the Conference office located in Hobart.

This position will report to the General Secretary and will be responsible for Office administration including:

  • Assistant to the President, Secretary and Youth Director
  • Reception, responding to telephone calls and emails and greeting people.
  • Facilitate, and assist with “Special Events” and calendarized events such as committees, boards, seminars, evangelistic programs, Youth Events and Big Camp as directed.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5pm.

The successful applicant must have,

  1. Excellent oral and written communication
  2. Well-developed people skills
  3. Well-organized and able to work to deadlines.
  4. A high level of keyboarding and advanced Microsoft office skills
  5. Be a committed practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist church
  6. Graphic design skills in Canva or Adobe Suite
