Classroom Teacher (Years 3-5), Full-time – Permanent

We seek an enthusiastic, passionate, well-organised, highly skilled teacher, capable of teaching multi-level classes (Years 3 to 5). The successful applicant will be required to have sound knowledge and strengths in Literacy and Mathematics and will highly value strong collegiality with school colleagues.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Are great team players with a sense of humour and strong relational skills
• Spark curiosity and foster the joy of learning
• Embrace inclusion, value diverse learning needs, and demonstrate cultural competence
• Possess great NZ Curriculum knowledge, experience with Structured Literacy and fluency with Digital technology.
• Hold a New Zealand teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain it).

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Seventh-day Adventist special character of the School and demonstrate the capabilities to maintain curriculum programmes and activities that reflect the school’s special character, which are conditions of this appointment. Note that the special character of the School is defined as the faith system made up of the Christian beliefs, values and lifestyle of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The position commences Term 1, 2027.
