Our catering team is on the lookout for a passionate Chef/ Cook to join our team based in Cooranbong. We have part-time and casual hours available for the right candidate.
You will work closely with the Catering Manager and the Hospitality Services Manager. You will ensure the provision of quality food and quality customer service meeting the individual needs of our residents. You will run a smooth service including meal prep, plating of meals, texture modifying meals, menu development and menu design to name a few. We are big on compliance so we would expect you to follow that. And we are big on care: we want to look after our residents and our team.
ABOUT YOU
You are professional and energetic, and you are able to demonstrate:
TAFE Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) Certificate III or IV Studies
Previous experience within a Hospital or Aged Care facility
Ability to plan menus to meet standards
You are reliable and punctual
Experience in bulk cooking and food preparation
NDIS Workers Clearance, or willing to obtain
Be vaccinated to meet Compliance for the Aged Care Sector.
