Care Coordinator

Adventist Senior Living (ASL) is seeking a Care Coordinator to join the clinical team in a leadership position on a full time basis working 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. This position will require you to be part of an on-call roster.

The role of the Care Coordinator is to ensure the highest level of quality individualised care to residential aged care residents by leading staff, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the day to day care of residents.


  • Demonstrated experience as an RN in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated industry, ideally aged care and/or retirement living.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and database tools
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in:Leading and supervising
    Writing and reporting
    Working with people
    Planning and organising
    Deciding and initiating action
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to a positive workplace culture.
  • NDIS Work Screen or willingness to obtain
  • Vaccination Compliance for Aged Care Sector 


Adventist Senior Living is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (North NSW Conference) seeking to enhance the physical, spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of older Australians through Christ-centred care. The organisation has three service offerings: residential aged care, home care and retirement living. Facilities and services are located in the Lake Macquarie and North Coast regions of NSW. The North Coast business unit comprises a RACF at Alstonville and Lifestyle Communities at Alstonville and Tweed Heads. The Home Care business unit also has a small team operating out of the Alstonville RACF. 

The Clinical Care team are responsible for sourcing, screening, admitting and caring for residents within the residential care facilities. This also includes responsibility for accreditation and coordination of funding for these services. 

A key member of the Alstonville leadership team, the role works closely with the Residential Facilities Manager and Business Support Coordinator to ensure occupancy and ACFI maximisation, leadership of care staff and delivery of quality clinical care.
