Maintenance Worker/Handyman

About the role 

• You will be responsible for providing maintenance of buildings and equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Monitor the effectiveness of completed work and report any issues that arise.
• Carry out preventive maintenance program as scheduled
• Proactively maintain high standards and avoid unnecessary damage through early intervention

Skills and experience

• Be able to work effectively and efficiently within the team and autonomously as required.
• Be able to communicate with all levels of employees and residents
• Know general maintenance procedures and repairs
• Have empathy with the elderly, with a willing and helpful attitude
• Good level of physical fitness
• Have full Australian working rights 
• Training or qualification in WHS
• Trade qualification
• Possess a light right license to drive a bus/truck (desirable)
