Recreational Activities Officer/ Diversional Therapist

Adventist Aged Care Sydney is currently looking for a casual RAO or Lifestyle Officers or Diversional Therapists at our Wahroonga site, a 94 bedded facility. We are an innovative and well-respected Aged Care provider who focuses on continuing to achieve the best outcomes possible for our residents and our staff.  

About the Role: 

As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will be involved in providing a range of social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as the well-being program that empower our customer’s choices and independence. 

Requirements: 

• Certificate or degree or diploma in Leisure and Health
• Prior experience in a similar role
• Lively personality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for the elderly
• An understanding of Residents Rights, Aged Care Accreditation standards and outcomes
