Avondale University has an opportunity for motivated and reliable individuals to join the Cleaning team as part of our casual cleaning pool on the Lake Macquarie campus.

As a valued member of our cleaning team, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors across campus.

Examples of typical duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the Avondale University campus through various duties such as carpet shampooing, buffing floors, cleaning bathrooms, offices, and events spaces.
  • Cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, including stripping linen and making beds.
  • Assisting with set up and pack of chairs and equipment for events on campus.

  • Possess a can-do attitude;
  • Be reliable and flexible to work weekdays and weekends where necessary; and
  • Promote and follow safe work practices.

Salary: Avondale Higher Education Worker Level 1 Step 1 $34.05 per hour (inclusive of casual loading).
